From timesheet to invoice without retyping a thing
Hopfact builds your invoice from the same days as your timesheet: you fill in your month once, check the invoice and send it over Peppol.
Without Hopfact
Two documents, the same work twice
At the end of the month you count your days in a spreadsheet or in your client's tool. Then you open your invoicing software and type the same number again, with the rate. A half day, a public holiday, a Saturday with a surcharge: every detail has to match in two places.
Get it wrong once and your client or agency spots it first. Then comes a credit note, a new invoice and a longer wait for your money.
With Hopfact
Fill in once, get two documents
In Hopfact your working days and the Belgian public holidays are already in the calendar. Prefer hours? Let the timer run and your days follow from your hours. You only change what went differently.
From those days Hopfact builds the timesheet and the invoice. The invoice lines follow your assignment: a day or hourly rate, a new rate from an effective date, surcharges for Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, and overtime above a weekly or daily threshold if you agreed that with your client. The invoice gets the next number and comes as a PDF and a UBL file.
You check the invoice and press "Invoice and send". It goes out over Peppol or to your accounting software's email address, whichever you set for the assignment.
With or without a signature
If your client has to sign the timesheet first, the invoice waits for that signature. As soon as your client signs, you get a notification that your invoice is ready, and one click sends it.
Invoicing directly, without a signature? Then that step drops out. You check your month and send the invoice. The timesheet goes to your client with a click of its own, separately from the invoice.
Hopfact never sends an invoice by itself. You check the rate, the VAT and the invoice date, because fixing a mistake costs a credit note.
Why two tools don't solve this
Time tracking and timesheet tools stop at the timesheet: the invoice happens somewhere else. Belgian invoicing tools only start at the invoice: they don't know your days and don't let your client approve a timesheet. In between, there is you, with a spreadsheet.
Hopfact is one chain. Days, timesheet and invoice share the same data, so what is on the timesheet is on the invoice too.
Built for freelancers in Belgium
- Working days and the statutory public holidays are already in your calendar, like Armistice Day on 11 November.
- VAT is calculated once per rate and rounded the way the European e-invoicing standard (EN 16931) requires.
- Your invoice exists as UBL for Peppol, mandatory between Belgian businesses since 2026.
- Timesheet and invoice in English, Dutch or French, chosen per client.
